The Bizz is an international recognition of business excellence. The award honours and distinguishes successful business models, worthy of being imitated in order to encourage business excellence. The Bizz Awards were held at a glittering ceremony at Hotel Taj Hotel, Mumbai on April 2, 2010 which was attended by several key Indian corporates. HSIL bagged the "Inspirational" award for its business model, symbolizing excellence that is worthy of being imitated at an international level.
Amongst the elite gathering Mr RK Somany - CMD, HSIL was honoured with a medal, a trophy and a certificate for having shown high standards managerial excellence in the recent past and for being a good example of business management that influences and inspires other companies.

On March 12, 2010, Hotel Lalit in New Delhi was the chosen venue for India's biggest architecture awards - the Hindware ArchiDesign Awards. Over the past few years, the awards have evolved as a platform to honour and felicitate the best of the architectural talents in India. Hindware has been associated with the same as a Title sponsor since its inception. This year too, the award ceremony was graced by Mr Sandip Somany, JMD-HSIL Limited, along with many other dignitaries. Mr Somany inaugurated the evening by lighting a lamp, welcoming and addressing a huge gathering of over 400 leading professionals from across the nation. Though there were many laurels pertaining to different categories but Ar Rajeev Agarwal and Ar Deepak Guggari bagged the ArchiDesign Architect of the year award, while Ar Christopher Benninger was declared ArchiDesign Architect of the decade.
The glittering event was a cultural mix of entertainment that saw the best of the talents in India being recognized. The winners were chosen amongst the leading architects and interior designers of the country. The ceremony brought many applauds to the achievers and the eclectic performances that enhanced the spirit of celebration. The evening experienced a perfect unison of traditional and new-age talent, reviving and re-enforcing creativity that has come of age.
